Even though Spring is just around the corner, some birds still benefit from a heat source, especially at night. I use both the heat panels from Avitech and the smaller K&H Snuggle Up Bird Warmer. (Mine came from Doctors Foster and Smith.) Any bird that is elderly or compromised in any way (i.e. feather challenged) will gravitate toward the warmth. Keep all flammable materials away from it to be on the safe side. In these photos you can see my very old blue crown conure, Ben, and his sidekick companion, Jada. Ben has the heater on one side and Jada on the other. Sweet.
